Who created the Packers famous logo?

The Green Bay Packers logo was created by Gerald “Dad” Braisher, Green Bay’s equipment manager from 1956-77.

Known to all as Dad, Braisher created the logo in 1961 at the request of Vince Lombardi, who was tired of the team’s logoless helmets.

The “G” logo was intended to fit the shape of a large G into a football.

One of the most famous logos in the world, the “G” in the Green Bay Packers iconic logo was intended to stand for “Greatness” not “Green Bay.”
